The Beautiful Peninsula

We would like to warmly welcome you to Alyki, the beautiful peninsula on the southeastern part of Thassos, which leads into the sea, forming two coves. The area of Alyki is peaceful and famous for its rich nature beauty and the archaeological sites, with the beautiful remains of the ancient temples. Alyki consists of two different beaches, an organized one with beach bars, sunbeds and umbrellas and another one which is very quiet.

Thassos is littered with dozens of amazing beaches and hidden coves all over the island, renowned for their crystal clear waters. Every visitor will find a beach of his liking to relax & enjoy, whether it is a sandy or a pebble one. The beauty of the island is undisputed and is considered one of the most diverse and beautiful islands on the Aegean sea.

Scuba Diving

The clean sea and calm water make Thassos ideal for scuba diving. Apart from the beauty of the land, Thassos has a magnificent seabed which you can explore with the help of the diving centers available in Thassos, mainly in Pefkari, Potos, Psili Ammos and Makiyammos. All diving centers have qualified staff with long experience and possess the necessary equipment. You will also pass through a shipwreck, which according to the legend was wrecked during the war with the Turks and it will make you feel like a hero coming from a historical novel dating back to the early 20th century.

Thassos Island

Thassos is a pole of attraction for thousands of tourists every year, especially during summer, but it is also a perfect place for vacations during autumn and spring as well. It is very close to the main Greek land, thus the expenses to get here are very low, comparing to the other Greek islands. Thassos has beautiful beaches, which have crystal blue waters, all around the island. It also has amazing deep green nature areas full of plane and pine trees at its inner part.
